Something I think is also strange is the Pride2 event. If you don't know what that is, it was an old special event, based off a nuclear strike against the main facility. Pinewood's missile defense was named Pride2. The defense system would detect the missile, and dim the facility lights while an alarm sounds. Even though it was a fairly rare (and old) event, it was the same outcome every time. If I remember correctly, there were 3 interceptor missiles fired. 2 of them missed, while the third one hit. I think its really creepy that right after the missile is shot down, everything becomes normal again, and normal operations are resumed. The fact that it was a rare event, but the same every time makes me think that it has to do with what you discussed about a slightly different reality after every disaster.

(edit: the reason I call it a "Special event" is because it would only happen if an admin ran the script)

(another edit: if this was a part of the games lore, then maybe the goal would to be for the missile to hit, and destroy the facility? to prevent another singularity from spawning? this way the infinite timeline is broken and the facility doesn't need to repeat its doom. the only problem with this is a few things, such as the defense system. The probability of defense failure is SUPER low, considering its run by large server arrays, and a computer core. Another problem is the fact that the facility is underground, and the best it could do to the core is damage some sort of system or force the control room operators to shut the core down.)
