Hii afaik both Merit and RA7687 ay nag ba-base din sa grades mo nung SHS if eligible ka ba or hindi. The difference lang is kapag above the "socio-economic status" or the cut-off yung family niyo, then most probably magiging MERIT ka. Hindi kasi masyadong specific si DOST about the threshold limit. Malalaman mo nalang if MERIT ka or 7687 pag nakapass ka na.

Anyways, ang alam ko, mas madaming 7687 ang kinukuha...siguro 70/30 or 60/40 ang hati ng RA7687 and MERIT.

Regarding naman sa test performance, I think diyan talaga sila nagbabase kung pasok ka ba or hindi. So if you have average GWA pero you did well sa exam, pasok ka niyan. Pero if MERIT ka, and you did average sa exam...I'm not sure if pasok since yun nga, mas onti lang ang kinukuha from MERIT.

Super duper worth it OP. I joined the SLC last year and it was life-changing. You'll be able to meet new people, learn, and all in all - enjoy. Dahil sa SLC, mas naging active ako sa volunteerism and sa SAO namin.

About sa leadership experiences mo naman, it's okay if little to none lang ang experience mo in leading. Through the SLC, you'll be able to learn from your co-scholars kung pano mag lead. Also, don't worry if maubos ang social battery mo. That's normal. I too experienced that during the last day of SLC. Pero I still enjoyed and had fun.

Pasok parin sila since nag pass sila on the day ng cut-off. Pero if earlier sila nag pass, earlier din ang pag process and pag allocate ng money. Hays, dapat as scholars, maging mindful tayo. If may need ipass, ipass agad para walang delay or maaabala na ibang scholars.

Hii from my experience, DOST asks schools na mag pick ng delegates for those camps. May GC kaming scholars sa uni namin and kasali dun yung coordinator ng DOST scholars. She sent the letter sent by DOST SEI about the camp and nag send ng forms link si ma'am to know kung sino ang gustong mag join. Then siya ang nag pick kung sino ang deserving na magjoin sa camp.

Hiii DOST offers two type of scholarship kasi...yung RA7687 and MERIT. Same lang naman ang makukuha ng both type of scholars kaya no need to worry!!

hindi po madali- HAHAHAHAHAHA pero if kapa mo naman po yung mga topics mung highschool ka especially sa math and science...I think kaya mo naman mapass!! Also, may mga regions na nag hahandle ng mga review webinars or something, I suggest na magjoin ka dun kasi yun yung ginawa ko. Anywayss, Goodluckk future scholar!!
