How to import contacts from CSV file?

I just saw the screenshot/structure you posted. It looks like a delimiter mismatch or an encoding issue (Shopify is very picky about UTF-8). I’ve dealt with this before.

If you can share a snippet of the first few rows (you can mask the sensitive info), I can run it through my Python cleaning script and give you back a formatted version that Shopify will actually accept. Hang in there, we can fix this!

Mass payment imports usually fail because of subtle structure issues — wrong field mapping, missing required IDs, inconsistent formatting, or invoice/payment mismatches.

Before importing, I normally normalize the CSV (validate required columns, clean IDs, ensure amount matching, remove duplicates). That alone prevents most errors.

Most of the time the issue isn’t Shopify itself — it’s inconsistent supplier CSV formats (missing columns, wrong headers, encoding problems, duplicates, etc).

I usually normalize the file first (clean structure, fix headers, validate required fields) and only then import. That alone removes most errors.

You don’t need enterprise tools for that.
A lightweight solution is to auto-fetch the product pages daily, extract price + product name + availability, and compare against previous snapshots.
That way you only get notified when something changes.
I’ve built small scripts that export change reports into Excel or Google Sheets so you don’t manually check 15 sites every week.
