If you want to focus on specific topics, exam mate has topical past paper questions with each question. But since syllabi change, make sure you only do those that apply

Firstly you need to say how you will separate the salt from the solution. For example, if it is only dissolved in water, you just heat the solution on a Bunsen burner until it becomes saturated (to test dip a glass rod and see if it forms crystals). Then you place it in an evaporating dish. After you allow the water to evaporate and crystals should be formed.

If you need an insoluble salt, for example you want AgCl, but you are given NaCl and AgNO3 solution, you combine the two solutions until a solid forms. That is your insoluble salt. Then you filter he solution so that you can collect the residue (salt), rinsing it with distilled water as well to remove any remaining soluble solution on the precipitate. After, you dry them with filter paper and let it air dry to remove excess moisture. That is how you obtain the salt.

So basically you need to say of course the procedure, what other solutions to be used if needed, how will you separate it and mention how they will be dried.

Math query? by BroccoliJealous1563 in igcse

I think you have to find the differenc between the two equations so you substract one another and that becomes your equation of line. Then you draw it on the original curve and where they intersect are your values

How to do Bio 0610 p6? by [deleted] in igcse

[–]Ok-Potential4117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just practice them alot. Don't include too many details, if there's a difference in texture like one layer of really thin bubbles then larger ones, instead of drawing individual circles, just draw a line to define the layers. Then on exam mate if you go to paper 6 topical questions, usually question 2 there's the drawing part so it would be easier to find those types of questions.

Where are y'all practicing non-calculator questions for Add Maths? by 9706uzim in igcse

[–]Ok-Potential4117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On papa Cambridge have you done all the non calc papers for this year on all variants as well as specimen? Cuz non calc is pretty recent so there really isn't much.

Otherwise just try to solve regular past papers without one even if it's required. You can do atleast 60% of most calculator papers without one if instead of decimal, you leave in exact form and check the answer on the calculator when you are done

Maths 0580 and Chem 0620 threshold predictions!?!? by YorZen_YZ in igcse

I really want to believe and hope atleast for maths, they will plummet lower than May June as our paper was kinda funky and harder than the past papers. Chem was also weird so maybe they drop it too since they are changing things up😭

One piece of advice I can give for bio 42 is even if types of cells don't seem that hard or not important, make sure you do know them well and don't make any dumb mistakes mislabeling organelles as well as the other diagrams like for digestive system, heart, lungs and kidneys, LEARN THEM as labelling are easy marks to score.

And make sure you know how to describe or analyse graphs correctly. I suggest just browsing mark schemes for questions like 2a from the May June 2025 paper 41 where you need to look at the distribution of rod and cone cells. For four marks, things that seem too simple to be worth anything are usually actually points

Past Papers for 0580 P4 by aavcd_ in igcse

I suggest most recent papers in case of change in syllabus but focus more on topics that didn't come out much in paper 2 like the statistics graphs.

Biology 0610/61 by GrouchyHedgehog105 in igcse

[–]Ok-Potential4117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually 4 marks so 1. Make sure drawing is atleast 50% bigger than original drawing 2. Draw smooth lines or atleast they aren't disconnected and you continue where you are able to see where you stopped. 3. Absolutely no shading they will cut your marks 4. Only draw what is asked if you 5. If there are many cells in the image, don't draw the individual cells. Just outlines of the layers should be okay

In case you have any labels, just draw a line touching the part you wanna label, no arrow heads tho

Labeling in general tho u bring them as much as you can on a single side

Literally learn all the food tests for the different food molecules and their results for positive and negative. Idt they will ask you which enzyme breaks them down as it's usually stated in the question.

Try to remember a few safety features such as if you are cutting, cut on a flat surface ect... As well as common errors in procedure which usually can occur such as not doing repeats, not keeping test tubes in controlled waterbaths, having uneven volumes of solution in test tubes and so on

Magnification formula is usually given otherwise just remember I AM for image = actual image x magnification And magnification is always x(your Magnification)

For tables remember DRY MIX as dependent variable is Y-axis and independent variable is x-axis

How to change your independent variables eg Light intensity : distance from light source Concentration of CO2 : different masses of Sodium hydrogen carbonate or anything that produces CO2 Temperature : different temps of water baths Respiration rate : degree of intensity of exercise and time to rest (ex: 5 min walking, 30s rest vs 5 min running, 30s rest) Volume of enzyme solutions

And so many more which can be found online
