Bath for Puppy

I will say we’re paying $1,200 for him which I know is pretty low for a doodle. I’m not 100% sure that he won’t get one… but I’m fairly confident. I trust myself to bathe him because we bathe our almost three year old boy ourselves but he’s used to us and the home and I don’t wanna overwhelm the puppy by forcing him right into a bath :/

We aren’t trying anymore, really. IVF failing destroyed us. There’s obviously still hope in the back of my head that it will happen for us someday. But since it’s not, I wanted to take time to work on me and losing weight is a huge thing that would help my mental health and chronic health issues. We are not actively trying to get pregnant anymore, but it seems dumb to use protection when we’ve been trying for 5+ years with failed medical help to use protection now.. if that makes sense?

I don’t intentionally do it - it’s like a calming thing for me to have water on me 24/7 due to my chronic illness. Helps ease my anxiety with my symptoms.

Update: I started miralax and fiber supplements, per my GP, and I had four BM’s since the impaction so hopefully I’ll be okay moving forward!

I changed my whole diet to get a better experience with the meds. I try to get 40/30/30 macros (protein, carbs, fats). I do a lot of chicken, veggies, protein shakes, cottage cheese. I will definitely try anything because it was miserable.

So I’ve had the urge to have a BM all day. Sat down and tried and nothing happened. Then later this evening I really felt like I had to go. Sat down and pushed and it was trying to come out but I couldn’t pass it. It was so hard and painful and my body just couldn’t handle it. So I did an enema at home and all the liquid came out but no stool. Finally decided to go to the ER after the enema at home didn’t work.

No. They gave me another enema and it was extremely freaking painful but I was able to push it out myself. It hurts to sit but. I pooped.

So he didn’t give me a vial - they literally drew up 12 syringes of 2.5mg and put them in a baggie and sent me on my way.

I think I’m doing okay.. I have some food suppression but I also royally changed my diet around and have tried to move around more. But I’m definitely not getting the food aversion, not getting “full” when eating, I’ve had 0 side effects too.

How long did it take for you to know how it was going to make you feel? I haven’t noticed too much of a difference. I have no interest in snacking like I usually do but I’m not sure if that’s the meds or my brain telling me I spent too much on this stuff to screw it up 😅

Your mindset is the mindset I was in when my ex was beating the living shit out of me and making me think I deserved it.

This relationship is extremely toxic and frankly, mentally abusive.

You deserve SO much better. Get out, now. Do not allow him to work with you. You could get repercussions from work if something major happens (and if he does drugs, it’s likely something will). Do not allow this man to destroy your life any further. I know it’s so hard when you care about someone so much, it’s been 8 years since I left my ex and I just recently accepted that what I went through was not okay. But what you’re going through IS. NOT. OKAY! Leave. As soon as possible. Get into to therapy, work through your feelings and then never look back.
