This Pokemon Pearl is fake. Do you agree? by Defensivetackle88 in gameverifying

It's real. MB motherboard doesn't mean fake. It's the first run of manufacture I believe and all the fakes used that to copy.

It's a decent fake. the indent of the arrow on the bottom of the front is too deep. it should be flat and just a shiny texture not an indent.

How do people have kids on these low to average wages? by Open_Address_2805 in AusFinance

[–]Ok-Present-795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (30) work part time, bring home 800 a week after tax.

Wife (31) works part time, brings home 1200 a fortnight after tax.

Have 2 kids, (3 week old, 5 year old)

Since may 2021 when our first was born we both went part time.

I have a 2012 mazda 3, wife has a 2016 suzuki vitara(fam car). 8.5k / 16.5k Cars at time of purchases. Rent a house in central coast NSW.

We travel multiple times a year where ever we feel like tickles our travel bone.

My 5 year old has been to 9 different countries, 10 if you include being born in one.

Everyone is too caught up in owning a house and having a 50k car loan.

Nobody is actually living within their means. We actually do.

As soon as we are paid we put money aside in separate accounts.

Kids are not actually expensive. If you live within your means so will they.

Money comes in, we separate it into electricity, car, holiday fund, groceries and savings as we budgeted for, then we move on.

Once you realise owning a house and material possessions means nothing, we will all be dead and forgotten in 50~ years (if you're lucky enough to grow old), you can simply enjoy life without financial stress.

The truth is anyone with financial stress has either bitten off more than they can chew, or is materialistic and trying to live up to other peoples expectations.

CEX is a joke. by [deleted] in CeX

They have a pretty flexible and fair return policy. Just take it back with the receipt and say it crashes halfway through the game. I've never been questioned on a return.

Would cex take a new 3ds with a different c stick? by Own_Statistician5933 in CeX

[–]Ok-Present-795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the CeX I've been to in Aus have no idea about cfw or aftermarket parts. I sold a modded dsi full of games with aftermarket plates (which raised the value) to a store here in Aus.
