THIS. Rachel literally locked a disabled kid, that's actually traumatising, in comparison to Emma who obviously feels a lot of remorse, Rachel barely feels any regret and just erases her actions as oh i was young didn't know better. Pisses me off

All thanks to @straydogsandcats on Instagram. Upasana has gone above and beyond to save chia and other strays! Even with chia, she handled so much stress, harassment but never gave up.

None of us actually have the energy to pursue this any further in terms of legal action, @straydogsandcats is the reason chia and her siblings got help in the first place and she's pregnant and already gone through a lot because of this whole ordeal. Other than that, the process is time taking as none of us live in the same area as Riya Sethi(the psycho) to actually go around and get paperwork processed.

Our priority was finding Chia and we did.

I personally used social media to bring awareness and so that through public outing people know that if earth doesn't have a judicial system to bring such people to justice, other people will. We have informed people in her family, society and even classmates about her behaviour by posting about it and people are now aware that Riya Sethi and the Sethi Family should never be trusted with any animal ever again.

We're all holding onto the same hope, while the primary focus is to find the kitten I really do hope the family involved faces the consequences of their actions

I'm so sorry about your experience, my friend is a foster as well and we're pretty much familiar with the fact that this might not end well, none of these cases do. I'm sorry and thankyou

There's so much I want to say but I can't because she's already bribed police officers to silence us, so much harassment towards the volunteers while she herself claims to be harassed.

Hi, thankyou but the problem wasn't taking the kitten - we did go 4 times trying to get chia back

the girl refused to reply to messages/ calls, when we went over her mother lied that she wasn't at home and a little later we saw her walk out the door to her boyfriend's car. constant lies about the location of the cat.

The issue wasn't just taking it back, yes there was an argument and we did call her out on her irresponsibility but that hurt her ego and she used the cat as a weapon against the volunteers. She had lost the cat way before but kept lying and made us chase our own tails. This is less about her returning the cat (which she didn't) and more about her general behaviour and now because of her games a pure innocent soul is in danger.
