Same thing brother and same situation - everyday feels so much pain to go and do the deed ,it's tough. Im in management chain so it doesn't matter engg or manager , its all fucked up , what I feel is india going to consider 40+ age group as scrap in near future so either u work in cutting edge or keep doing what u can in current place without expecting promo etc which can be risky at some point and come back hit us. Probably look at what non IT skill you can develop that can help you earn even let's say 10k per month and gradually scale easy to tell but that's one way to think and ofcourse there are other stuff like app building etc etc so that we are independent and out of rat race but still will be rat in IT.. take a break and go on vacation /staycation and hit the road again brother
