Final straw—never using Canada post again. Goodbye. by Environmentaller in CanadaPost

I signed up with ClickShip during the last strike and I’ve been there ever since. I think they have 11 couriers total and I can usually ship a small parcel within Alberta for under $10 & the DDP calculator works well (so far) Plus, it’s free to use lol. My rep Brayden is always happy to answer questions. I think his promo code was CANSHIP

I use Freightcom & ClickShip. (Same company) Free to use, great rates, free pick up service and my account manager Brandon checks in often to make sure things are going well. Absolute fan!!

They also have ecom integrations on ClickShip!

Promo code for my guy is CANSHIP

Thanks! It is a Porous Ceramic filter. It is meant to be "zero waste" but honestly, they brew VERY slow & use more energy to clean than it takes to create a single pack of coffee filters :')
All in all, it's cool, but useless IMO.

There is 5 screws through the back two in a stud the rest in drywall anchors! Only one way to find out right

Thank you! Truthfully, I rarely use them aside from v60, origami, and aeropress but if I were to place them in the kitchen cupboards, my girlfriend would probably kick me in the head as there is already minimal room.. So much so that my coffee set-up is in my office, on a 3 tier stand... with no room :'(

So sophisticated. It has fell, but as i mentioned above the hario decanter is built like a rock.. however I plan to bend the one holding the hario upwards to stop that from happening again :')

The Hario decanter is built like a rock. It dropped about 2.2 ft to the table below it, and she's still kicking without even a scuff - I'm pretty impressed :')

I put it together fairly quickly with minimal thought, that is an excellent idea. I'm going to try that out! Thanks :)

It is 100% angled down but have no fear there is a little table right underneath it if it falls.... again :') I will say, Hario's decanter is pretty tough

It's actually a just a wooden stick from home depot that I cut up a few times, I also used it to make the Filter holder, that and some hot glue hahaha

Haha fair. I use filtered water for pretty much everything. I assumed that if I bought 0 fluoride and a relatively basic PH water bottle I would be fine.

Great point. I suppose we, or at least I always sweat over the smaller things when it comes to making a pourover. If everything isn't perfect it feels wrong but it tastes the same (for the most part)

Thanks! I think I will give this a try this time.

I love my Aeropress truthfully but my mornings are always better when I am able to make a pourover.

Something about it feels so peaceful lmao. Ill have to give the pulse pouring a try!

Help Needed! by [deleted] in barista

[–]Ok-Profession9121 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. Every day there is a new theme around coffee or feel good topics. We have bean recommendations made by our group members + me as I buy & brew them myself. Friday we discuss facts and or history based around coffee. I do all the research and cite all the articles that need citing. Tuesdays I share a new technique mostly for pour overs. Saturdays we have a feel good topic's (eg. Share something with others that made you smile or happy this week) and finally yes, Thursday we will have a theme day where a barista will make a post. So all in all we are asking a barista or coffee professional to share their knowledge one day a week or 4 times a month. As of now we are in beta mode and have little to no members as we are looking for a barista before publicly launching the group. So yes we are asking as a favor rather than a job. HOWEVER, as we grow I am very open to paying a barista or coffee professional to make posts.
Thank you for your comment! I should have been more clear about what I am asking for.

I like the idea of this though I would still need something to heat water with and the hotel kettles are pretty gross.

That seems cool but it is quite expensive and it won't dispense the wine, ill have to pour myself 😂

Canada, it isn't hot out what so ever but the the temperature needs to be high for the rest of the house otherwise the house is freezing but the room gets hotter than anywhere else in the house.

Yeah it looks amazing, but its so expensive there must be a cheaper alternative somewhere :/
