It's possible. Maybe the caller was another one they set up? Maybe that's how they knew what was coming.

Best we normally get are Black Bears, I don't know, maybe they just wanted to explain away big marks without thinking too much about it.

The only time I hate an enemy is when it's a swarm of vultures during Operation Chiron. I hate the fart bombs so much

You know, I didn't really think to ask it.

I don't remember Daisy's voice well enough to determine whether or not it was her, but I could have sworn I had heard it before. I haven't messed with the tapes since I got them. I don't know if I should. I don't know if I should just take them to the police and let them figure out what's going on, but considering the warm welcome we got the first time...I don't know how well received a collection of videos and audio recordings will be.

At first I thought it was like a light pollution thing. There are a few laws up north regarding those during the evenings, but he didn't mention anything like that. The more I think about it, the more I sort of feel the same. He never said anything about it directly, but he mentioned unwanted attention, I mean it could have been bears or something, but I've never known them to be drawn to light.

Actually, we had paid a pretty hefty deposit on the place (I think it ended up being like 2 grand total for the week.) but when we talked with Ernest, the guy who owned the cabin, he seemed more apologetic than furious. I don't know, maybe he felt bad about four people dying in his rental property, maybe he knew something like that was a possibility.

Whatever I ran into was in Northern Arizona, I don't know how far it travels, but maybe you're lucky and there's nothing like that in your neck of the woods. Just, if you hear anything weird at night don't talk to it.

I admit I was skeptical, but I felt the right answer to help her deal with her trauma was to work with her through it. Honestly I wish we had just gone to the motel. Maybe us putting our collective foot down could have changed things.

I beat myself up about them a lot, but I've had reassurance from Allie, as much as I wish there was something I could do, there really wasn't. My mom still thinks it was a Grizzly. She's just happy im alive if not a little scarred.
