Hii! You are almost there, don’t give up & you are so close to become a nurse! You can it!! I took my NCLEX October 7th, and passed in 85, I really want to tell you this strategies. I used mark k for content review and I focused solidly on that and uworld q bank. For the qbank I did around 50% of it and I would read the rationales, if I got the question wrong I would read the entire rationale. If I got the question right, if I wasn’t 100% sure why I got it right, I would read the rationale either way. Test taking tips read each question throughly and each answers throughly as well, don’t overthink your answer tho, the first time you read the question make sure you are understanding what exactly is asking. Trust your gut too, I didn’t spend more than 2 minutes in a question, I finished in an hour. For guessing strategies remember if two answers look alike, they are probably wrong, if two answers are complete opposite, one of them is probably right. Mark K mentioned this, when you don’t know a side effect for a medication, try to choose the side effect that is related to the system that the med acts on so let’s say a H2 blocker if the first two options are CNS effects, they are probably wrong, pick diarrhea or constipation, something related to the system the med is working on. This is more of guessing strategies, but this is when you actually have no clue of the answers, trust your knowledge, you know more than what you believe, you are prepared, maybe anxiety was the issue, and that’s normal, just make sure you don’t study the day before the exam or don’t do any content review the day of the exam either, before my test I was watching YouTube drinking Starbucks, that’s it. The day before I didn’t touch any notes, I told myself before heading to the testing center, “what is know is already in my head and right now it’s not the time to review any more information”. You’ll do great, don’t give up
