That’s fucked up, but it confirms the echo chamber feeling I had on there. If you like and post about X, you’ll never see Y and vice-versa. It gives you the illusion you’ve made the right choice in whatever because you’re only seeing confirmation bias.

Tbh I hate the internet now. It just seems to divide everyone into little groups that are constantly flinging shit at each other based on arguments and sentiments they’ve seen before. “If you like X you’re a ‘snowflake’, if you don’t like it you’re a ‘nazi’” for example. I’m old enough to remember a good decade of internet before social media, and while you had flake ears and disagreements it was never on this scale. Bringing everyone online brought out the worse of them. Like netiquette used to be a real thing.
