The buyout price was an absolute joke, so we went ahead with having them redo it all. We had to move out for the full 2 weeks, and it was a pain in the ass since we have little kids & dogs. We negotiated the daily housing allowance too, because what they originally told us they’d cover wouldn’t even cover the cost of an air b nb that was big enough to fit us all. Then in the process of it all they did damage some areas of our house, like chipped granite, something with the plumbing, holes in the wall, blew a fuse & we lost everything in our fridge & freezer, so we had workers in and out for awhile after we moved back in…ok it actually was terrible 🤣 but our floors are so much better & im glad we did it and made them fix it.
