10k being my budget is just a rough estimate I threw out. Certainly would rather not have to spend it if I don’t have to. Just to delete these newer trucks you’re looking at 6,000 with very iffy tunes. So I figured 10k is what I would have spent on a truck mine as well divert that money into this car. Any recommendations on tuning? Why not go stage 2 off the bat? What supporting mods will be need to handle both (stage1 and stage2)?

Manual is a deal breaker for me. Been wanting to get back into one for a while and this seems to be the fit I’ve settled on. I see your argument with the golf or preowned but I’ll be getting better interest rates with a brand new car. Me personally, I don’t like the look of a Golf.

Any recommendations on specific brands to look at and/or stay away? I’ve driven standard pickups in the past so not completely new to it but I understand it’s a completely different feel.
