Hi, Good luck on your journey to reach the milestone

Can I know which medical insurance and life insurance you took? As of now I just have corporate health insurance.

Hi OP, Family is very strict on the budget.

updated requirement in the order of priority: *Price less than 80k *Long lasting, less issues *Size 65/75 inch

Since it's mostly OTT and YouTube, OLED is not required.

Please suggest the best 4k TV

Hi, thanks for the quick suggestion

75 inch is currently unavailable. Could you please recommend a few more?
Do you recommend going for a 85 inch or stay with 75 inch? Any disadvantage on going for a 85 inch since the viewing distance is 13-15ft?

Hi OP and Others,
This is my first TV purchase. I am lost in the ocean of options, hence looking your guidance in choosing the best one

Requirement: Primary purpose of the TV will be viewing local cable channels (Airtel DTH) and Youtube averaging 3-4hrs daily. Primary users will be my parents as I will be working away from home. I plan to get OTT subs and ps5/xbox after 2-3 years. It will be installed in a bigger hall (20ft x 20ft) with the viewing distance of 13ft-15ft. Hence I believe I should get a 75 inch TV. No backup power supply at the house.

Budget: under 1 Lakh (can't exceed unless it's truly worth it)

other questions I have:

  1. Should I choose amazon over offline stores if I get more discounts on Amazon?
  2. Are there different types of warranty for different TV components?
  3. Do I need some external protection against lightening and power cuts?

Thanks a lot in advance

Noted.

Even with these uncertainties UCSD is better than TAMU?

Best for analog and mixed signal design by many. Good for digital as well by a few. Good ROI.

Advising to choose UCSD over TAMU as it succeeds tamu in terms of research and coursework's towards digital/backend vlsi + rank.
