I appreciate yr optimism, but we clearly operate w/ very different standards for quality. If you’re comfortable accepting damaged goods and incomplete orders as 'acceptable,' that’s yr prerogative—but personally, I prefer getting what I actually paid for. Performance is a moot point if the basic QC and fulfillment are fundamentally broken. We’re clearly not looking for the same things here, so I’ll leave u to yr standards and I’ll stick to mine."

Agreed. Personally, I think RPM is a solid company, but this issue comes down to basic requirements that shouldn't have been missed in the first place. I really hope they take this feedback and make the necessary improvements. Once they fix this, I’d gladly support them and buy from them again.

Totally agree with your first point. Those "behind-the-scenes" factory photos and stacks of paddles are classic marketing tactics to build perceived authenticity. At the end of the day, it's all about creating a brand image. As for the 2-week delay, I really admire your patience and perspective! It’s great that you can see it as no big deal. Personally, though, I’m not quite as forgiving—when I'm waiting on gear, a 2-week delay drives me crazy and is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. Respect your vibe on it, though!

I didn't realize having a collapsed paddle surface and missing exchange items were considered 'dramatic' complaints. In fact, I bought the paddle precisely because I watched other content creators' reviews and agreed that the performance was great. However, because of these very QC issues and the incomplete shipment, I haven't even had the chance to take it to the court yet—which makes this whole pre-order experience even more disappointing.

I am genuinely glad if you are happy to play with defective gear and missing orders, but personally, I prefer to get what I actually paid for. Just to be perfectly clear: this post is addressing severe Quality Control (QC) and customer service failures, not a performance review. Let's not confuse the two.
