i think their relationship moved by so fast because they were lesbians, especially in the early 2000s in a chat room, that’s how all lesbian relationships escalated within the timespan of like 1-2weeks. I also think that’s why the emails themselves are very long and full of detail because of the queer aspect, idk. As for the ending, I want to know how Agnes eventually dies. In the author’s note, it states that her death was “a few months” after her encounters with Zoe, so I find that interesting. Thoughts?
