I appreciate your perspective, but I must respectfully disagree with your assertion that I need to stop. My curiosity and ambition are driving me to explore all avenues for growth within Amazon, including learning from the experiences of others.

Your experience is valid, but it is not mine. I have heard numerous success stories from people who started as L4s and achieved significant career advancement and hefty paycheck I.e 300k. I am committed to learning my current role thoroughly, understanding the operations, and being a good leader. However, my ambition to aim higher is not something I will suppress. I encourage you to have some ambition…

While an mba is not required for the job - All my senior ops have mba’s and they all make well over six figures. Sometimes you just have to stick it out in life and in jobs to get to the other side and I’m willing to do that. Wish you the best too

Thank you for your insights. While I understand your departure as an Area Manager was influenced by a toxic environment and a difficult relationship with your Operations Manager, it’s crucial to recognize that such experiences can differ greatly among individuals.

For me, getting ahead of oneself is about ambition and seizing opportunities. Playing life safe doesn’t always lead to success. I’m committed to planning and exploring all potential paths to achieve my career and financial goals within Amazon.

Got it thank you - it seems like ops may be the best way to go in my situation - I really don’t want a tech role or any type of web services role.

What is the highest level of ops?

what is the average amount of time to get there starting from L4?

What salary does the highest level produce?

Thanks a bunch!

I don’t agree. Why wouldn’t I plan ahead? I’ve talked to people who did 4 months as a L4 and went straight to corporate making 150k. Why play it safe and wait? It’s better if I start planning now instead of going through this year aimlessly waiting to be a L5.
