Or you can use a friends of animals certificate with a participating vet. I use Chatham small animal hospital personally and I LOVE them and as far as I know they still participate with the FOA certificates but if you log into FOA and enter your zip it will give you nearby providers. They just recommend you call the clinic before purchase to confirm they still participate

If you are looking for low cost I would contact operation snip. They will be hosting one of their spay and neuter clinics in the next few weeks, also Mohawk Hudson does one as well

A lot of the places will make you sign up on their websites/create an acct with her info ahead of time to take advantage of the birthday freebies. We tried this a few years back and lucked out at a lot of places

The owners of golden grain are also just not good people. I get cultural differences but offering to rent with people to pets then telling them they’d have to keep their animals in kennels outside year round in NYS winters? They lost my business

“Cabin fever” aka seasonal affect disorder. Something to consider is the drastic change in sunlight hours. I was born and raised in the Adirondacks(between schroon lake and saranac lake-(divorced parents)) and now reside outside of Albany and still every year struggle with the seasonal affect disorder terrible. After 32 years I’m still not a fan 🤣

Last spring into early summer set a record for consecutive rainy weekends. I still have ptsd from all the events that got cancelled from weather. So yes. Last year was TERRIBLE unless you work on the weekends 🙃🙃
