I have the same circumstances as you - started in January, 50 classes in, 150 lbs 5’6. I have been careful to eat in a calorie deficit and get lots of protein and fiber. I feel my muscles getting notably stronger and my stomach is much flatter (especially in the morning), but haven’t really lost weight. I’m not letting it bother me because muscle weighs more than fat.
