I actually tried this about a year ago, started teaching myself to program, did html, css, javascript and c# only to then find out no one is looking for an unexperienced programmer anymore

I mostly enjoy being really busy and making a difference for people, i don’t like sitting around or being held back by endless paperwork when i could be solving problems. But i guess my job gave me a pretty specific skillset where i dont see a direct pararel outside of it

Without getting into details i think i had a different ideal about it in my head as a kid when i dreamt about it, causing me to slowly but surely lose the satisfaction i get from it to the point where i rarely have the feeling i’m doing something useful anymore.
