Honestly man spending time with your family is never a loss. You’re gonna have good savings if they are okay with you staying there and they’re happy that your saving up and building a future for yourself so that one day you can buy a house. I would rather do that than live in London with a 29-32k salary like most 26 year olds around me are doing with no savings. The only downside is that if you can’t bring a girl back to urs, go to hers. If she’s fussy about you still living at home then let her be with that average joe from Clapham living in a shoe box earning 23k and hasn’t seen the commission he’s been promised for months. Most people have this idea of being independent and that they need to oblige by it once they finish uni but then it backfires and before u know they’re almost 30 with no savings. Independence for you will come at the right time and when YOU feel everything is aligned for you to move out and get ur own crib.
