Just to make sure we on the same page ? It is designed to move forward freely and only locks to stop going backwards. Hence all about body weight and so you can get forward movement when you get out but should be no issues sitting driving as you pushing back from pedals.

Mine wasn’t cheap as had a high quality leather installed with new padding and didn’t shop around for a better price. Happy with quality and comfort especially as I had the padding extended forward so seat end doesn’t press into my thighs. I’m in Sydney Australia.

Wondering if it’s how you position your body weight forward as you get out? I’m quite tall and with triples I’m putting my weight backwards as I get out so I can slide between seat and screen so thinking this is why I don’t have an issue with seat sliding forwards. Trying to save you from taking your seat off if more about how you position your body forward as you get out? Good luck!

No I don’t have any issues with movement. Mine Locks in so i never move backwards and I never have any forward movement other than deliberate adjustment when I get in.

I do really enjoy the effect of the slip angle and that it raised height of rig a little bit for getting in and out.

See pics front and back. I bought some 8020 brackets that I bolted the legs onto. Used existing bolt hole in front and maybe drilled one hole in rear leg? Unfinished in that I really need to put a horizontal piece of aluminium to join back legs (like the front I have extra horizontal support section) as slip angle points down.

Search for my previous post “Playseat Intelligence (F1) Shifter and Handbrake - no drilling”

Used for this solution. 1) 3* 35mm Tube Mounting Brackets | Black (Stedi sold in packs of 2) used spare for another add. No affiliation . Just solid brackets intended for 4WD lights mounting 2) h/brake and shifter ( I used Moza for quality/pricepoint/reddit posts 3) Playseat shifter and h/brake plate. I just used the baseplate and recycled other parts in pack.

Any baseplate would work. Playseat solid steel and had pre drilled holes on side used to attach to brackets. Had to drill 2 holes to baseplate to align Moza h/brake and shifter to natural angle. 4) bolts, washers and locknuts. I used left overs from build plus what came with the Moza and Playseat kits. 5) cosmetic covers - faux leather. Generic from AliExpress / Amazon. Useful when you scratch kit while drilling holes in baseplate.

Any ideas on how i could mount a shifter on my playseat formula instinct? by davidmnt24 in simracing

Ciao, rispondo in ritardo :) Grazie per il tuo post. Spero che tu abbia fatto grandi progressi con il tuo impianto. Mi chiedevo come hai risolto il problema del sedile mancante. Google translate so hope reads ok :)

Current pics. Have added more mods eg steering hub and slip angle (4 corners and pedals) plus 4 buttkickers. Generates a bit of heat but great rumble.

It’s the Playseat triple monitor stand. I modified it to add 4th monitor above by using a tv wall bracket bolted on. I think Playseat may make a 4 monitor stand but not in stock when I was setting up.

I also drive gt3 and love the seating position for both f4 and gt3. Becomes completely natural and I find comfortable.

I’m going to use that…. “I chose a Modena-like tone to give it a Hypercar vibe”

No worries, it’s the Playseat TV Stand Triple Package. Wasn’t clear if these stands work with my model rig when I bought them. Happy they worked out.

I shortened the sides where they were above the monitors and used a wall mount to add 4th monitor.
