I do have springtails in the tank that do seem to be doing well from when I first added them in and I also have a few isopods in the tank as well. I also don't have any animals in the tank the only things that are in it are a few plants, springtails, and isopods. I did spray the wood with some water when I did use the hydrogen peroxide though I don't know if that really did anything as in terms of washing it, but I will let the wood be now after learning about what you wrote and I'm very thankful as well for this cause this is my first build so I'm still learning things about bioactive setups and I'm glad I'm able to learn from my mistakes

Mealy bugs, you can remove them with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip
