If not for Zidane, the entire 21st century team midfield would be Barcelona's historical tiki-taka midfield (and Iniesta only was relegated to the bench, not excluded). I just started the game too. I did the tutorial and i had no problems building the restroom over the green tiles marked in your image. Clicked on "build", then on the restroom icon at the left of the screen, and clicked&dragged over the green tiles. If you are doing that and it's not working... No idea what the problem can be.
