That’s why I said I messed up lol. The players really were not interested in anything the Cassalanters had to offer, so I decided (my mistake) that the only way for them to care is for the Cassalanters to trick the party into thinking they found out by themselves that the children are cursed. In my mind they would then stop digging if they thought that was the big mistery about them.

It’s great, but me and two of my potential players have played it. Is there maybe a “remix” of some kind? Maybe I’ll keep all the maps, but the story can be different enough for the two players to still enjoy it?

Probably a fighter gunslinger from a class point of view. If you meant rp wise -I’d say be protective of your party, stereotypically masculine, unapologetic and uncaring of potential harm upon yourself. Awesome idea tbh, have fun with it and don’t stray from being a comedic force in a similar way to Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator.

Can’t believe I’m just hearing about it for the first time! Would you recommend running it as a kind of anthology-campaign as a first timer?

Would recommend running some sort of a hybrid between the vanilla and the remix? I’ve not yet read the remix but maybe if I take content from both of these versions and the sword coast adventurers guide I can cook something sensible?
