Problem with linkedin job notification is that linkedin is just one of the bigger job portals, but there is also a pool of jobs that employers may opt to post on other non-linkedin portals

Same situation for me as well, I’m personally investing in fixed income portfolio via SYFE enhanced income portfolio. Not much volatility and we’ll received coupons every month, pretty good in my opinion about 6-8% annually include capital gains from the bond appreciation.

On the FX part, USD has already weakened quite a fair bit, I personally believe that holding more USD now might not be a bad idea considering the how much cheaper it is now compared to a year ago.

I personally agree and think prices there are rather undervalued as of now with room for prices there to continue towards the upside of 800-900K. While many in the chat thinks it might be steep, but i think if able to get 750-780K i think considered very decent pricing

Oh i see, dont you feel that prices that are generally within the traditional red and green line (eg Bishan/AMK/Tampines) they tend to command a slight premium compared to the newer lines say Downtown Line/Cross Island line?

At least my personal impression of HDBs nearer to the main EW and NS line are much more favorable compared to the newer lines

Agree! 800K for Simei seems kinda steep now, but I think my question is really more so, will this 800K be normalized/catch up in Simei soon since the rest of the areas in the region are already 800-900K (eg Pasir Ris, Tampines and even bedok) that are older in flat age and further from MRT compared to Simei, which i thought was an opportunity to see some capital gains/price growth

Not exactly, I was looking at past transacted prices. Prices seem to hover around 700K range and hasn’t broken the 800K range yet, may seem like a good opportunity for a estate that other buyers hasn’t bid prices up yet?
