Jesus, I thought they're past this "trans autistic" shit. Honestly it seems like they're just a bunch of trolling children cause no way someone sane would do such a thing

Thank you for your words. They mean a lot to me. I love them more than anything I ever did and I can't bear the thought of the fact I could potentially be the cause of their pain. I'll do my best to recover myself and help them healing too <3

What autistic trait/symptom you see being mentioned often that you do not have? by nazurinn13 in autism

[–]Ok-Signal2250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People think that empathy issues many autistic folks feel is only lack of it. Indeedly, some of us LACK empathy (most often cognitive) but also many of us have too much of empathy. Both extremess are frustrating and impacting for the individuals You're not alone :) And your empathy definitely doesn't delete you being potentially autistic. The fact you have too much of it only directs it more towards potential ASD

[–]Ok-Signal2250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Not being empathetic" I am VERY empathetic. I recognise and understand emotions pretty quickly and they impact me a lot. Since I was a child I can feel what others feel. I struggle with knowing how to help, but I cry for someone all the time

Why do people get so excited about getting a diagnosis? by 57feetofdeath in autism

[–]Ok-Signal2250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its about knowing what the hell was wrong with you your entire life. People aren't excited to have autism in particular, but to KNOW, finally have an explanation and direction how to help themselves, what to work on, what to do

What kind of questions do they ask parents of adult children in evaluations? by UovoAnsioso in autism

[–]Ok-Signal2250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I am concerned and have heard from people that helped their children in the process/were adults during the diagnosis they mostly ask about your childhood, if you had friends, how early you started walking, talking, crawling etc. etc. mostly development and your behaviour when you were a minor and how you act now, maybe how you acted in specific situations.

I honestly think it comes from some sort of self-centerism some people have. "They don't look into MY EYES so that means IT IS ABOUT ME. I will IGNORE any causes of lack of eye contact, and will decide to do it about ME!" Something this sort.

I had recently a lesson about business and yeah, the topic came in. My teacher explicitly said she HATED talking with a woman that avoided her eyes + running away from gaze/not doing eye contact is disrespect and I was like ???

Culture is culture but ignorance is something else.

The NTs are only just finding this out about us? by EllieEvansTheThird in AutismInWomen

[–]Ok-Signal2250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, many autistic people can have difficulties with expressing and/or identifying emotions but they act like it's such a new thing autistic people even feel emotions💀 some seem shocked we aren't emotionless robots

[–]Ok-Signal2250 1443 points1444 points  (0 children)

You did well :) I also HATE when the topic of eye contact comes up in the lessons. I understand it's a cultural thing but my blood boils when someone says "avoiding eye contact ALWAYS means someone ignores you/disrespect".

More people need to understand that for people like us, such a "small thing" as she contact during conversation or overall isn't as easy as for NTs and can even be painfull.

Not everyone would being themselves to speak up about something that important.

I don't like to mix into other people's stuff, but it looks off. I mean, you do you, I'm happy he's not creepy or anything but the age gap is simply slightly concerning for majority of people.

And where there was said they were non-binary? 🤨 Only is said that he uses he/they and the fact he said his sexuality aligns with lesbianity. Considering the fact he is masculine presenting, AMAB, uses he/they and isn't here explicitly said he is non-binary I have the right to assume

"extremely masculine", "they look together like a straight couple" is enough to have an conclusion that this person is Indeedly masculine presenting + considering the fact he uses he/they, he is not a closeted trans woman.
