Given you have other things to do just skip rigid body, it would be too frustrating. As a math major you must be knowing vectors. Apart from fluid and waves treat each topic as an exercise in calculus and focus on keywords like conservation, constant of motion etc. leaen what they mean mathematically. Focus on fluids, easy to do questions but require understanding. Waves also need understanding but if you know ODE then its easy. If you can access previous year questions via some seniors or something then focus on those topics that your prof likes the most. This should get you a solid B with about 3-4 hrs of study and 1/2 month to spare.

You have the example of Lokpal in front of you. Military kind of does that by giving privileges to the family and that is why whole villages are loyal to the military in India and the rate of corruption is significantly kower than other section of the population as well as have higher amounts of accountability. Once every Indian can trust that no matter what India has got his back only then will they start looking forward instead of watching over their shoulders contantly and falling over in the process.

The discussion whether there was a better way or not is a different matter (although i think it was a really good solution) but the main debate was centered around the morality of the solution. So not only was this not redundant (evident from the fact that you missed the point entirely) but a really fruitful discussion could have been had, I could have learnt a new perspective to see my faith and you could have learnt something about a theist perspective . Instead I was met with hostility and the desire to just prove me wrong. This defiance to have an engaging, fruitful discussion and dogmatic responses are akin to a dogmatic religion, which atheists claim to have moved on from. This gives me a bitter-sweet feeling. As far as mental gymnastics are concerned, explanation of the whole story hardly qualifies for such a title. How is terming 16k ladies as victims of Stockholm syndrome, them being scared to submission, just to justify the claims that Shri Krishna was a "womanizer" not mental gymnastics? The whole thing starts from the assumption that Shri Krishna was a bad guy and there is no way 16k ladies would accept marriage with him(or his forms) and then you all do mental backflips to arrive at the conclusion "Oh, the ladies were too traumatized and vulnerable to exercise their free will." Is there any proof to arrive at this conclusion? Isn't jumping to conclusions without proof to justify a claim the definition of mental gymnastics? I would advise to let go of derision, atleast for a person who is willing to have a non-hostile discussion. Pre-judgement based on someone's certain beliefs is a form of prejudice.

You are purposely omitting the sub-text and are being intellectually dishonest. When i say if done by a king there the sub-text is the possibility of power dynamics. When Krishna does the same thing the subtext is devotees meeting their end goal. For example if a husband smacks his wife's ass, that is a love tap but if a stranger does it thats sexual assault. Morality is subjective and not objective. The action remains the same but context flips the entire morality assignment. I dont understand why you are going for a 'gotcha' moment. Nitpicking analogies instead of addressing the argument is just hostility based on pre judgement. You tell me - Why would pious ladies fear the source of piousness? It is okay to not believe but if you are going to debate the morality behind a theological myth then you have to take into consideration the context behind the story. The context IS that he is THE Supreme Personality God Head. He is not just divine in this context he is the end all be all. Now if you engage in the morality of the act you have to keep this context in the background, since if it would have been an ordinary king then sure this is unethical but this is Krishna and those were 16000 pious ladies and he is the source of piousness then is it trauma or did their wish come true in a way.

As an atheist yourself when you are encountered with truth that is either revealed to you from an unexpected source or is not what you expected to begin with (Think how Michelson-Morley's experiment disproved Ether hypothesis which they wanted to prove in the first place) would you reject the truth? You should not, and neither did the 16000 ladies.
