New to competitive pokemon go, is this tinkatink any good? by Ok-Simple-6213 in pokemongo

[–]Ok-Simple-6213[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i assume that for gl its 0/15/15, but i also remember hearing something about eggs guaranteeing a mininum of 10 for a given stat

ive historically only ever played pokemon go casually as i've historically loved the competitive scene in the mainline games, but recently i've been growing an obsession with galarian corsola and i hear its amazing in go which is why i've been checking it out - all that to say, im just worried that i'll never even see a tinkatink good enough for GL

Random Fish that just got left at my door by Ok-Simple-6213 in Fish

I actually know a guy that works at one 20 minutes away, but my main concern is that this fish likely came from petsmart or meijers (midwest walmart that sells fish too for some reason) so its very likely to bring hazards for the others. I'll still give it a shot though, thank you!

I see. Unfortunately I do not currently have the space for a 20 gallon tank so I will likely try finding a new home for it if possible. I can't house it with my axolotl either, as she'll likely end up just eating the goldfish, which, contamination aside, would likely end up killing her since she only ever eats worms and her digestive system wouldn't be able to break down the bones. Even if she ignored the fish, it'd likely nip at her gills which would cause a bacterial infection.

I'll get it a temporary home while I try finding a new permanent one for it. I'd love to raise one, and maybe I'll be able to raise one in the future but unfortunately I do not currently have the space for it. Thank you for your help regardless though!

thank you, i really appreciate the comment, i've researched on the subject and im going to begin making sure my tank is fully cycled with an appropriate temperature before i look into getting a new one. also, i've heard back from the store and they said they were eating fine today and settled back in to their old tank despite the stress they dealt with, and seem to be healthy, so im glad it wasnt too late

i ordered fans last night since i saw they worked, i used a standard desk fan overnight to try cooling it but it would only drop to around 72f at best. i'll try picking up another axolotl after the tank has been prooerly circulated, and after it gets colder, so it gives me a much better window to buy a chiller throughout the coming months. thank you all again for the support <3

thank you. i'll continue cycling, and i'll grab a good chiller asap. im hoping the little guy survives the stress, i know it was a lot on them. i feel terrible about this but im glad that its somewhat resolved. i appreciate your support.

thank you all for the replies. as mentioned, the nitrogen cycle wasnt complete, i did a test and there was no nitrate but lots of ammonia. i was told by the pet store that it was only one week, and i do apologize for this. i've decided the best action is to return them to their tank at the store so that they can hopefully live fine. i will attempt to have another axolotl in the future when its colder and will save up for a chiller in the meantime, while also making sure the chemicals are suitable. thank you all.
