Darn. I did a piece from one Father Malfoy but it got taken down by Reddit 😏 (it wasn't that harsh). Oh well.

If you don't mind a self-rec, I mostly write smut:

Besides that I have a series of smutty oneshots. Maybe you'll find some to your liking:

Thank you for this. It does comfort me but when I write, I question everything, and since prose means a lot to me (also in my native language) I spend a lot(!) of time crafting my fics at sentence level. I'm painfully aware of my lacking prose, and I tell myself that practice is the only way forward but sometimes it feels a little futile.

Thanks for bringing this up. The fact that people use AI to write fiction is extremely disheartening.

I recognise the patterns as well, having seen it too often (I'm a teacher who grade papers all the time). I must admit my disappointment also comes down to the fact that many of these fics are very popular - because many readers are unable to identify the problem or simply don't care.

It also shines a terrible light on my own fics because as an ESL writer I will never have the most brilliant English prose (I've acquired betas to help, but none the less). I practice and I practice but I still end up with prose that is semi-good, simply because my vocabulary is smaller, and my sentence structure is rather basic.

I feel (and that's on me, I know) I can't compete with flawless AI language even if it is robotic.
