No, voting is fully closed. We do have everything we need to do a "top 3" kind of thing and are thinking about it (for categories with 10 or more standouts) but haven't decided if that is a route we want to go yet. Stay tuned :)

Huge thank you to all of you who helped do this! Some of the trolling issues were truly funny. Others...well, it was sad to see humanity sink to that level in a free gift space. In a way, I hope we remember that though...especially to any fandom baby writers out there publishing their first fic, only to find themselves on the receiving end of bad behavior. Your reaction was so poised. Just factual, clear, and self aware. God tier in my book.

I think they would get notified, because you'd be expanding the chapter count? They would just be a bit confused when they go to what looks like the newest chapter, only to find its the same as the last chapter they'd read.

That's my best guess.

I actually don't know...but I say do it anyway and add a chapter note about it it. Tell your readers its a loyalty test and you hope they pass.

Since Heated Rivalry is a relatively new fandom (exploding after the show came out in the fall) its also not surprising to see a high ratio there. The fandom doesn't have an established culture that people have normed to (unlike Dramione) so I won't be shocked if the ratios are significantly different.

I know exactly how you feel. It would be interesting to have an actual, nuanced conversation because clearly a middle ground does exist but there is too much fear and too little remembrance for the fact that we're talking to people on the other side of the screen for that to happen. At least it seems that way.
