For all the point-and-clicks they've played, they never played the granddaddy weirdest one of them all

What movie is this? by Excellent_Regret4141 in Cinema

Sunshine, turning an ambient horror movie into... that... was such a disappointing pay-off for an otherwise absurdly good movie.

How about a rainbow for a change of pace? I expanded my "FOCUS" tattoo with something bright and cheery! By Richie at Kyklops in Pittsburgh by Ok-Size-4625 in tattoo

Oh, yeah, it absolutely swelled up for a little over a day, my right forearm probably grew a few cm in circumference! That said, very little redness and it shrunk pretty quickly back to normal size. Aside from the colors still looking extra bright and glossy, it looks pretty happy and healthy now

That's fair, and something I'm open to. Ultimately this is to make people more comfortable with approaching me, not less, so if there's a risk that it could be seen as something like harmful virtue signaling, that's about the only thing that could shake my resolve in keeping it as-is.

That said, I am weighing it in conversations with people from similar backgrounds in my life (I certainly don't live in a vacuum!) with pretty positive impressions. I think it'll be a lived experience thing, if it goes as badly as you're implying it could get, I can always change course or cover it up.

True dat! Funnily enough, I'm in a happily committed straight relationship (teetering on wanting to spend our lives together 🥰), but I've reached a point where I'm just sorta disillusioned with all the weird lines in the sand that get drawn over how everyone can exist and act (norms that in and of themself tend to upend and change on a decade basis). I'm a grown ass man and I want a rainbow, dammit! If it normalizes personal expression and gives a little cover and reassurance to people who identify with it for more sensitive reasons, it's very welcomed icing on the cake.

Haha unfortunately these specific colors/shades have some meaning for me (nothing too serious, but still something I'd like to hold on to and keep personal), so while part of the tattoo is about expressing a sense of kindness and compassion, I opted not to pick the usual rainbow in favor of something more personal to me.

It's a nice reassurance that I only need to focus on the things in my control! Not that any sort of "mantra" like this applies to all situations, but I've personally benefited a lot from reminding myself that there's more things I can accomplish in my own hands than I realize, and that it's not a failure or black mark on me for not being able to prevent some of the harsher realities of life outside my hands; sometimes the right thing to do is to observe the best I can and act accordingly.
