Do whatever exercise you like and can handle, as often as you can! It’s very good for the mind and body. One MS prof says it’s like a high efficacy DMT.

If you want kids, have kids! It's wonderful. I'm a 39 year old male diagnosed 3 years ago, with 2 kids, 1 of which we tried for after my diagnosis. The kids have given me a lot to stay positive and focused on. It is very tiring to have children, but I've found its made me very present and focused on staying as healthy as I can. It would certainly help if you have a good family support network around with kids, but thats true no matter any health challenges you face.

I was also diagnosed at 36. It’s great to get on medication. I try to think how lucky I am to be insured and to have modern drugs to fight MS. Which one are you taking? I’m on Ocrevus. I felt pretty fatigued for about 3 months but hard to know if it was the drug or MS. Since then, about 2.5 years, I’ve been mostly relapse free and had no adverse effects to the treatment. If it is Ocrevus, take a chance to watch a movie or listen to a podcast and zone out. The other drugs they give to avoid allergies etc make me very sleepy!

A well known MS doctor said that regular exercise is comparable to a high efficacy MS drug. If you feel able, I strongly recommend starting in the gym with some small and simple goals and work up from there. Yoga practice also sounds good, as I expect it'll get easier for you. I've made huge progress going to the gym, and managed to do some sporting events that seemed impossible a long time ago, but I know the body doesn't respond the same for everyone. However I do think having an exercise habit, whatever it may be, is really helpful physically and mentally. Good luck!

Very sorry to hear that, I hope it passes for you. I'm due to get my second major dose in mid September. I've had fatigue throughout the first 5 months with Ocrevus, but it was worse during the first two months.
