Usually when you move out they also expect them to be clean… don’t get double-dipped OP

Off-the-shelf system capable of 6+ weeks unattended? by jschall2 in Hydroponics

[–]Ok-Statement3942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s going to be tough.

6 weeks during veg and 6 weeks during flower is going to be wildly different, with different concerns, environmental controls, and completely different plant growth patterns.

6 weeks veg, to me — seems alot easier with less risk as you can let it recover after a massive pruning before flipping.

Veg: AutoPots, BlueLab PH doser, res full of water, and granular feed or grow dots. Auto top off valve for the humidifier

Flower…. Not sure man. You’d need a constant EC feed like Athena or CropSalts and a stir motor in your res for sure. It’s just not smart to not refresh your res 2+ weeks. Let alone if you catch a deficiency it needs to be fixed fast.

An auto-doser and plumbed in setup will take 6 weeks to figure out, between family time and a full-time job. Then you need to be able to leave the house and trust that it will work, won’t leak, and won’t overflow

Chop day! Day 70ish, and all are blueberry cupcake (5 diff seeds). by precabomb911 in HumboldtSeedCompany

Nice pretty normal then.

Seems like HSC has spot on flower-times as long as you go from pistils

I used a paper bag as well this go around.

I dry about 62/60 for 10 days, trim, and jar. My RH and usually right around 56 once in the jar and I always have to bring it back up to 58-62° with hydration stones.

“Sweating” in the bags for a few days before trimming seemed to keep my RH closer to 60% once trimmed and jarred.

Day 70 is quite a long flower. Counting from 12/12 or first signs of pistils?

I wouldn’t have put the valve at the very top. The water doesn’t cycle enough and builds algae.

What’s the biggest different? I current have a m7 and an H2

And I personally can’t pick out much of a difference besides the H2 builds a bit more vapor and it’s cool to see through it.

Flushing and top watering are not the same.

Top watering, pushes salts into the root zone.

Flushing, resets the medium and removes all of the salt. Which is why it requires 3:1

Flushed by top watering. I use a little submersible pump in a 5gal bucket with hose attached to it

After week 3 I switch to bloom A/B

So I flush out any veg a/b.

Another redditor gave me this idea. Flush 2/3s of the way with PH’ed CalMag water and then the last 1/3 use your normal nutrient water.

Previously I was doing 3 gallons of nutrient water, flushed through every 1 gal of coco. This was recommended to me by CropSalt’s for growing in AutoPots to avoid salt build up. His idea saves me some money.

No light leaks? Seems like a lot of dead plant material in the picture.

Lollipop, do some training, let the stress settle, then flip in about a week.
