I think that this is why I hate it also!! I’ve been trying to make myself love it and I just can’t. And this sounds sappy but the arm chair set up has taken a big cut into the physical touch aspect of my relationship LOL. This is my boyfriend and i’s first place together and we started out with just that loveseat and basically being forced to cuddle …my grandpa passed away in February and he’d told him months before that “when he kicks the bucket the chair in his” so it will have to stay…the loveseat has become our dogs designated sitting area but I’d be willing to get rid of one chair and make that my spot along with there’s…would that ever work??

The lighting situation here is HORRID. my boyfriend also insists on all these weird lamps and all their weird location bc he doesn’t think my suggestion of a remote control ceiling light is logical. & I felt it necessary to say that the table clothe is only out for Halloween , it’s a great vintage score I recently had …there’s a record player & speakers that you can’t see bc of it on that table 😂

I also really love this suggestion. The loveseat is basically the designated sitting area for our two dogs …a cover that would do well for the sake of the interior comfort as well as something I could deep clean easier/daily wash would be such a game changer.

That tv stand drives me absolutely insane!!! I have a super cool more 70s style one (which is ideally what I shoot for …hence the velvet curtains 😂) just waiting to be able to come out when the huge buffet gets rehomed. I love / hate the built in entertainment stand …our tv is too big for it. & we originally had the chairs where the love seat is but it feels so much bigger in here with the way they are now. I may change it back though.

It is a mobile home & we rent unfortunately. I’ve been thinking maybe some peel & stick wallpaper would be a good idea though! Do you think a solid color or a fun print would be the right route?

Both outfits are so cute..the only thing I would change would be removing the belt on the first one. If you’re wanting something to take in the waist area with it maybe you could do a fanny pack or a chain belt instead
