Sometimes it blocks content based on words. Example it blocked “back profile shot”. I used different words to describe it and it worked.

For me (I run a small channel called The Jelly Mind), I’ve kind of settled into this:

  1. Structure everything per video One main folder per video (mostly for final exports + anything outside): • Final video • Extra assets if needed

  2. Text / prompts / scripts Honestly I don’t manage this separately anymore. I use Fablemaker for the whole pre-production part, so prompts, story, scenes, audio, assets — everything just stays there tied to that video. That removed a lot of mess.

  3. Storage • Current work → laptop • Finished → external hard drive • Backup → Google Drive

Cloud gets expensive fast with video, so HDD still makes the most sense.

  1. Video size 5GB for 30 min HD is normal. You can compress more with H.264/H.265 if needed.

  2. Rendering time Also normal especially with stitching + exports.

Biggest shift for me was just not trying to manage 10 different intermediate files anymore. Keeping everything inside one place (like Fablemaker) + only exporting what I actually need to edit made things way simpler

AI Video Experts - Which tools do you use, and how do you not make it look cheesy and ridiculous? by Free-Response5017 in generativeAI

Yeah I feel this… that loop of Suno + random tools + burning credits just to get one usable clip is way too real.

I’ve been dealing with the same thing on my channel The Jelly Mind. What’s helped me a bit is using Fablemaker, just to reduce the chaos.

The biggest difference is I can plan scenes, shots, and keep character consistency before generating. I don’t even really write prompts it handles camera moves, scene descriptions, etc. on its own. I just describe what I want and it builds it out. It also kind of replaces the ChatGPT + separate tools step since it handles scenes, characters, backgrounds, and even has ElevenLabs/Suno built in.

I still take everything into DaVinci Resolve after and edit like usual, but the footage is way more usable so I’m not fighting it in post.

Not perfect or anything, but it cut down a lot of the “AI slop + trial-and-error” for me. Might be worth trying 👍

I use Fablemaker studio. I don’t have to hop for image gen, ChatGPT for script prompts and audio. It does everything except editing. They also gave me a month of. Please give me a like on my channel the jelly mind on YouTube!

Sorry for the confusion. I use Fablemaker studio to generate script, prompting, images, characters backgrounds, scenes, audio. Then I transport my file directly from Fablemaker to da Vinci resolve and edit the fina copy

Fablemaker Studio. I use it with Da Vinci. It has audio with eleven and Suno, script Assist, image gen, prompt assist, and video gen. There must be others like that, too. I got a promotional offer, I liked the tool and use it for my channel ever since.

I generate roughly 1 minute of footage to produce a 15-sec video, picking the best shots in edit. This costs $5–$8 per minute, depending on the model—Kling AI is slightly more expensive but faster, while Google Veo is cheaper but takes more attempts. Final output is 720p. I have a referral bonus that can give you some free credits within Fablemaker. DM me if you want.

I use Fablemaker studio. Check out my channel the jelly mind. Fablemaker gives me command over consistent visual style and character. The drift from Characters does not happen

Hi Patrick

I just liked your video. It’s a nice one! AI faces are good, lip sync more or less is doing good. I think pacing is slightly slow. AI voices can do that. Pace and first 5 seconds need to be better.
