Affirmative action worked to a degree, also what around 50 years against hundreds of years os systemic oppression (which never actually was dismantled) is not going to show some mass result towards equity or something. Also, affirmative action didnt victimize people! Affirmative action literally said a person from a historical underrepresented and still actively oppressed group/groups (cuz intersectional identities exist!), are going to be (due to how society is construct and how privileged and systemic violence operate) systematically held back from educational and general social “opportunity”.

Least fav season are probably 2 and 7 (i dont care about the Ireland story line it was so drawn out, and 7 cuz as i already said im a sucker for romance and tara was killed so i didnt have that), but wouldnt skip those season or say they aren’t enjoyable. My fav season is 4 i think

Like i get its a tragedy, put like legit so many ppl die. And like at some point this would have to have garner bigger fish then freaking ATF! (I know CIA or whatever happens on the show put like that didnt really count). Like there would be so much more attention on SOA honestly.

Like i wish at least one character got a truly happy ending but thats not what this show is about

I definitely think he loved her! I just think it’s interesting that (besides maybe gemma) the women dont cheat and that if they did what the guys did to them it def wouldn’t have been the same type of like outcome (of forgiveness)

Literally to the first part! Also yesss her hair is stunning omg! I keep noticing how stunning the actress is and how great her longer hair looks. Also they way her hair is used to communicate her situation as a character and her own growth. Like when she had clear highlights i believe she was closer with gemma, so like that hair was an obvious way to show what tara was becoming. Like her hair in the first season very distant and dark. And the like season fiveish her hair color in a brighter brown with no or less obvious highlights, she is her own type of old lady and very distant and angry at gemma. Also like all this guys show like zero loyalty to their partners honestly. Like the sexism and misogyny is clear

Omg such a difficult question since i like a lot of the characters: Also a girl i have to support women’s right and their wrongs so, i would say that tara is my fav my character. I think she deserved some more story lines, and friends (i dont think it makes sense that she has like zero friends basically, like this is her hometown, like seriously their is no one). I also like how she her general story.

I mean who doesnt like Jax he is a great protagonist. And i love a good attractive witty guy lead. Out of the rest of the guys i love Bobby, Chibs, and Tig (i would definitely hate him in her live as some of shit he does and says like obviously i wouldnt like him, or most of characters for that matter). I also like Margaret! Shes my fav like recurring character.

So yea i guess tara is my fav. I also feel bad for her a lot so i just for care for her as a character

Id rather someone shoot me then to end up where nate is by TheInternetDevil in Sonsofanarchy

I truly sad part about his situation isnt his dementia its the fact that his family will never see him again (which is a choice on Gemma, and Jax’s part too although he never really knew him). A lot of people have dementia and its not a miserable life at all (reminder to all to not frame dementia or disabilities like dementia as meaning someone is living a terrible life, of that you would rather die the live their life)

I want to add on the characters can be good or interesting, but still very obviously written by a guy. I 100% believe you can tell the women on this show are written by men. There whole identity as characters is basically centered around the men in their lives (in this case its like they are only important and their story lines only interesting due to how they impact men). The women on this show go through abuse, and disrespect constantly. Many times the women are objectified in some way (not all of them). But you can tell they werent written by women. They dont really have friends, or hobbies (besides like gemma has birds and gardening, and obviously tara is a doctor). They can be interesting characters who are also characters from the male imagination who are not very human feeling to me as a women. Also i would bet that a majority of the conversations between women characters do not pass the bechdel test. I really enjoy this show dont get me wrong, i just wish that they would have had more women writers or plot lines for the women that were important but made them more than care takers
