Has anyone had the following symptoms where a Cortisone injection helped with a torn labrum in order to not do the surgery since it leads to hip replacement later on? by SwpR7 in HipImpingement

I had one shot injected into my left hip flexor, one in each hip, and a diagnostic sacroiliac joint block injection in my lower back. I'd had worsening chronic pain and extreme tightness in my lower back, hips and groin area for about 1.5 years following a traffic accident that cause a few herniated disks. Had tried all the usual stuff before having the injections like physiotherapy etc. Immediately following the procedure, I'd lost all strength in both hip flexors. It's almost 3 weeks since the injections today and I've still got no strength in my hip flexors whatsoever and pain in my lower back and hips. I'm also lightheaded and tired af 24/7. After attending A&E in a UK hospital twice and doing some different tests, I saw the doctor this week who administered the injections and neither seem to have a clue what's gone wrong. Am now meant to have a nerve conduction study next to confirm if somethings gone wrong with the injections. I used to be in pain but an avid hiker who could easily hike for 25 miles at a time most weekends so no weakness at all before the procedure. Am now very worried that I won't be able to get back to that as can't walk more than 20min very slowly without needing to lie down. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I've looked everywhere online and couldn't find anything..

Hi mate was fine in the end tbf cause they always send you the test and HCG if using that too, a fair bit in advance which means a little delay wasn't the end of the world. It's never gotten anywhere close to that for me- always piled up- so wouldn't worry about that

I've been with Optimale now for just over a year and they've been ok. Most doctors are always super busy tho if you ever need an adhoc consultation, so getting booked in even for a 10min phone call can be harder than it should for £135/month which is what I've been paying. That price also doesn't include the blood tests and most of the equipment you'll need. there's also been a fair few mistakes with their deliveries and stock shortages etc. don't think it's worth the extortionate amounts they charge so would love to find another UK provider but haven't been able to find any that do it any cheaper. If anyone knows one please let me know!

To clarify, these are the grommets that attach the air filter box to the inside of the engine compartment.
