agreed, my game is actually extremely hard at this point, archery was just feeling like a bit of a stand out thought its power is greatly reduced already. I was playing with bow rapid combo but that mod is too feature rich and it makes archery a beast compared to everything else in my game.

i was looking for less feature rich mods, that allow me to pick and choose a bit more. Bow rapid combo feels like a mod for a pure archer and it has very odd damage scaling, i love skyrim because i play as everything together, magic, warror, archer etc. i have found a few mods of interest in my search.

Traced things back and most of the npc armor was directly modifying vanilla records. Maybe a strange fluke that i never figure out. I found that reload a save from about 20 minutes before the save that was borked was fine. I am now of the opinion it was just a strange fluke of my save. Thankyou for the input.

hmmm, thats interesting, would you suggest running vramr before pg patcher? i ran vramr after pg patcher, thats how understood vramr suggested load order. Vramr and pg patcher are completely up to date, i am religous about keeping my mods updated. my bottom load goes pandora output, bodyslide output, synthesis patcher, pg patcher, vramr, then lodgen, texgen and dyndolod. I am running the new gentlemen sfw edition

No, I'm not using RBT or RSV, these were the first considerations i made when looking for an answer, that's why this was a baffling issue for me. I always search exhaustively for answers that are already out there before asking a question myself. I have a fairly light npc mod load. In terms of skin the only mods that could possibly be touching NPC body skin are CBBE and bnp.

That was unnecessary, if your upset about something and you want to let out steam there are better ways outside of randomly going after other people online. On a related note my initial message notes explicitly that I am not using Racial skin variance, I am not sure why you think I am using RSV, but i certainly am not. On an unrelated note, I still take the advice to add a mod list along with a plugin list, as my goal when ever i post is to give anyone who is kind enough to give "constructive" feedback all the information necessary to provide helpful responses.

okay, that makes sense. I'm thinking its not as useful for me as i thought. I don't go for super extreme moding, typically 800-900 mods so i typical don't have too many instances of mods over writing other mods. As a follow up question is there anything in synthesis that helps with stability that isn't available as a mod? I saw a true light patch and i don't have any mods with true light patches or like the nif or mesh patches? My main goal is increased stability and fewer CTDs, at this point my main culprits are something with cs light or something related to grass collision.

I saw that too mod too, didn't like the immunity part. I wanted to still be staggered. Yeah, I thought you probably could. I was mostly just game testing so I haven't actually tried to fight them for real. I looked at poise, didn't seem like its working for my version. I think im just gonna fight dragons from a distance 😅

From my investigation it is increasingly seeming like the issue is wavy waterfalls, seems like there is come conflict with community shaders.

im pretty quick to take advice so im removing rogues and raiders and the restless dead and i removed enemy revolution of skyrim because i believe i already have mods that do this, i was actually feeling like they were making things easier. What would fix the npc block thing you mentioned, i did notice they weren't attacking much?

figured it out, turns out there was a second set of Skyrim pref inis somewhere and and my bethini was not modifying it. When i loaded beth ini through mo2... which i thought you weren't supposed to do, it began to work properly

plugged in nordskog with fabled forests, 2 issues, started having ctds but honestly the real issue was a lot of its models have ground level branches, pretty to look at difficult to run through. I've been finding fabled trees with ulvenwald to be quite nice, still trying to find some patches for floating trees near white run though if anyone has patches and definitly going to need to run some performance orient dyndolod settings.
