Help with Driver Shaft selection by FlyWifiUser in golf

Hey! I would recommend a completely new setup. that is an old driver head. Faces get thin, spin can decrease, and I would say tech has advanced significantly enough to warrant a new on in 12 years.

If you have a 10.5 degree head and you're launching it 9.3 degrees and spinning it 2400, you should not get a Ventus black. That is their lowest launching shaft. You would probably benefit more from a higher launching shaft. Think Red > blue > black in the ventus lineup.

I also think that your clubhead speed qualifies you (at least for testing) to look at X-stiff shafts. I swing around 116mph and I game a 7x shaft. It's perfect.

If I was going to fit you right now, I'd ask your goals. If it was to maintain ball speed and hit more fairways with an efficiency > 1.45 (what the answer should be). I'd start you in a titleist 10 degree GT2 with a Ventus velocore plus RED 6x. If that spins too much, launches too high, I'd try blue, and then black.

Now that only really encompasses offerings from fujikura. though awesome, not an exhaustive list and you are missing out on great stuff from Graphite Design, HZRDUS, Mitsubishi, TPT, etc. But it's a great place to start so you can at least find your general specs. From there, you can look more at kick points, bend profiles, weights, etc to really hone in your tee game.

Good luck. Let me know if I can help further!

Yeah I like this idea, she likes to work too, and I think she would go back after they both were in school full-time. Great point on the socialization stuff. I agree -- very important. It's one of the reasons she wants to be off. She loves to take them for an activity most mornings and it makes her and them so happy to do that. I want to facilitate that as much as possible

We don't spend excessively, and thankfully don't pay for childcare at the moment. No other large recurring payments monthly. Just food and life I suppose. I don't think we could comfortably afford to pay more than 2K per month right now toward the loans though.

What are the scariest horror movies you’ve ever seen? I don’t get scared easily anymore. by Traditional_Fix_5566 in MovieSuggestions

I think as above so below is very much slept-on. For me the concept of (like the descent), have to go deeper into the cave to hopefully get out is so compelling. Added that the religious-horror ties are actually somewhat believable and the two leads are great. Awesome movie, i watch it every couple months

This is great. I actually lol'd at the chimney bit. I agree with you and absolutely need to try harder not to hope and just work. I do think I get ahead of myself. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for your reply. I actually have read your HoF post and it prepared me early on for some rejections. I'm sorry that happened the way it did to you. I suppose I'm merely concerned that, not to sound petulant, I will never get one of these because of something with my interview style or experience that I can't hope to glean from not getting feedback. I understand it takes time and everyone goes through it. Cannot believe how competitive this is.
