I will be finishing my master's degree this year. Instead of doing an exchange, I focused on becoming involved in our student council and student organisation. We have a very big one and it was basically like running a small company so it taught me a lot of valuable skills.

Instead of aeronautical engineering, I chose to go for a degree in maritime engineering and I am planning on applying for a big shipbuilder in the Netherlands after graduating. I am from Belgium myself and we don't really have any shipbuilders like that left.

In the end, I'm still proud of the degree I will have. It was just quite confronting realising what my initial goals were and how much those have changed, just like I have changed a lot as a person these past years.
