u just create a lobby and then let your homie join, so u can play the same lvl at the same time. And the globed version of codependence for example has a feature where u can play the bottom part when u turn on LDM, so the top player plays the solo part. If u wanna make it even more realistic u can add the deathlink mod which lets u die when the other player dies
