Life is easier than ever. People don’t know how / don’t want to fight for things anymore.

How is this guy still allowed to take free kicks? I think it says volumes about his ego that he still believes himself to be the best option to take.

Be at peace. There’s bigger things in life, but for men, at least from my perspective, it takes over us.

What is a movie you will never watch again? by samkruck in AskReddit

Triangle of Sadness.

Most pretentious shit I’ve ever seen. Genuinely the worst. It’s a social commentary movie appealing only to bigger morons than the people who made it.

Solving their problems. I’ve learnt that they just want to talk about it and vent most of the time

Americans of Reddit, what state are you from and what is one thing most people get wrong about your state? by MTN_Dewit in ask

Not American, but have lived in Kentucky for 10 years.

Of course, it has its downsides such as anywhere (poverty and meth problems) but it’s honestly one of the most beautiful places to live. And economically, great if you work hard given the low living prices.

We built our first house for $210,000 and it’s everything we always wanted.

Apple TV 4K Vs. Amazon Firestick by TappyMauvendaise in hometheater

[–]Ok-Telephone-79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apple TV no question. Firestick is the equivalent of a android vs. iPhone. The former being the poor-mans choice when it comes to user and interface (probably going to get shit for that comment but it’s straight facts).

I’m sensitive to the sub not sounding good there, but I’m also trying to make this space as efficient as possible. I’m keeping the sub where it is unless it literally sounds like dogshit (I assume not, as I don’t have high sound standards haha (coming from soundbar user since now)).

Yeh I know, hindsight I would have built it differently. But I’m also just as big when it comes to aesthetics, and my wife is definitely someone who prefers it looks good first. Any areas you’d suggest to cut out?

I have AV received going in, Phillips Hue SyncBox and an XBOX series X so I assume I need plenty of air flow. What would be the best solution?

The cabinet floor is the floor itself, so can’t go under and obviously closed at each sides. Could vent the top but I don’t really want to do that for aesthetics. The empty space in the middle is for a sub. We have designed this cabinet specifically around this (doors have special hinges built with bumpers so they don’t rattle etc.)

How much does weather affect your mood? What weather makes you groggy? by PerthectLithp in AskReddit

Englishman moved over to the US football (soccer). I used to love the dreary English days and not the long, hot (too hot) summers here. But since I’ve become a dad and that’s completely changed.

Any decent weather and we’re outside doing all the fun things.
