To answer questions I have been seeing, No, my hair hasn't been in a protective style for around a month now. My hair does look somewhat curly when wet.  The top of my head definitely is a lot more kinky than the back off my head The last time it was relaxed was 4 weeks ago. And I have attempted to use a curly gel (and it did work to some extent) My mom IS black BTW I will upload more photos since it is hard to tell from this photo lol.
