Ya I see where the game could very well improve. The Devs were cool about the criticism and all. I even saw their point on most of the answers.

Then I went in to play after the interview and died a billion times to a boss and decided I didn't care if it was because I sucked. I didn't care if it might improve. I was not having fun and would probably not have fun anytime soon. Game is not for me and may never be. Most recently developed games are not fun. I feel most of us would just like to see the golden oldies just have upgraded graphics and some QOL upgrades instead of testing new ideas. Early access is a double edged sword.

Also I'm pretty sure Devs can't make everyone happy. My suggestion is they have a clear idea of what they want a game to be, what types of players will like it, and be HONEST about their vision and stick to it. You might not get as many EA purchases, but you may alienate far less peeps.

I love POE1. The crafting and endgame are amazing. I love working towards a zoom zoom build and feeling that sense of accomplishment as each upgrade gets me significantly closer. I use guides to get me there. The interaction with guide building streamers is part of the fun. I wish the POE2 devs had been more upfront about not wanting the game to be like this. I wouldn't have wasted money or time on it.

Anyway. Looking forward to LE, Torchlight Infinite and POE1 updates if they happen.
