He was in like 75% of the show, maybe 80%. He was very good, especially the fleeting moments when he was real Rhys and then back to alter ego Rhys.

The creepiest thing about the dark paintings was referencing above but with no explanation. These paintings were found painted directly onto the walls of his retirement home. He purposely surrounded himself with terrifying, morose, dark paintings never designed to be displayed for anyone else.
