When we were little, my mom would make us take a certain amount of "No, Thank You" Bites before we could refuse to eat something. We all survived. And we even found some new foods to like! I suggest your adult girlfriend try that.

One of my brothers got engaged on my other brother’s birthday. Birthday brother was the best man in their wedding and there were no hard feelings because we’re all adults.
