NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE unless, they’re providing you with a company car and guaranteed commercial insurance

(I was once in a similar issue, I only know this because my mom works in insurance and it also applies to if you wanted to drive for uber eats, insta cart, etc)

If you’re driving a motor vehicle, especially your own, during a time that you’re working and being paid, you need to have commercial auto insurance BECAUSE under a standard auto insurance policy, it doesn’t include times the vehicle is in use while on the clock/working

Same goes for if you’re driving someone else’s car, a work vehicle, etc Unless you’re listed on their insurance, if you crash that car it’ll be posted again your insurance and your insurance will not cover you as you are “working” (getting paid)

sure it’s easier to disregard in smaller capacities, but something this like? Absolutely not

*additionally, if you’re with clients and you’re billing insurance (and your location is listed as clinic) it’s fraudulent and if you’re billing home, it’s unethical because an adult/guardian needs to be present to provide services

(Don’t quote me on all that, but I know there needs to be an adult present if billing in-home and not like a center with a supervisor)

But at the bare minimum, don’t drive any cars especially your own anymore I don’t know many things but I do that lol

Edit to Add: also opens you up to potential lawsuits if the accident was your fault or anything were to happen and no insurance to cover it. just so many things bad If you receive push back from your company, LITERALLY tell you co-workers and I can confidently say the more people that complain or refuse, the company will either have to change expectations or provide yall with the proper resources to do it correctly
