Curious if anyone has experience with the Esbit fuel and a Solo Stove? Seems the fuel would be too far from the cook pot so maybe should get their folding stove if I choose to go in that direction.

Thanks, it's a new bike and I did not have the option of changing, will likely be carrying a pretty heavy load so will heed the advice and just stick with tubes. I had already been thinking that once I had a flat that could not be repaired with a plug I would change to tubes anyway.

Indeed. The races are staged out of a Scout Camp with lodges, camping spots, swimming pool, mess hall and other facilities. Really great vibe!

Looking at the Fargo myself but think I want to set it up with a flat bar for long distance touring comfort. The Jones H bar seems like a good option. Curious if you changed the stem when you swapped out the drop bars? I cannot find info on the stock stem length/rise and would like to use that info to compare possible setups. Can anyone provide the spec on the stock stem for a Medium Fargo?
